Gold status is accomplished by accumulating five qualifying nights in a calendar year or obtaining the Best Western Rewards Mastercard.

To reach Platinum status, one must complete seven qualifying nights in a year or acquire the Best Western Rewards Premium Mastercard.

Cardholders can earn 20X points for every $1 spent at Best Western hotels, comprising 10X base points per $1 through membership and 10X points per $1 from the card.

Furthermore, they earn 2 points for each $1 spent on all other purchases.
